Behavioral Health / Physical Therapy / Dental Clinic Replacement
The Schofield Barracks Behavioral Health / Physical Therapy / Dental Clinic will be a three-story structure with separated occupancies of ambulatory health care and business. Level 01 contains a large public waiting area and the Dental Clinic – the largest department in the new facility. Level 02 contains the Behavioral Health Clinic while Level 03 capitalizes on the roof deck to engage Physical Therapy in an indoor/outdoor setting. The exterior of the Clinic was carefully designed to be respectful of existing historic architectural fabric. Precast panels in historically appropriate base-approved colors comprise the majority of the facade. Two special roof garden areas, one on Level 02 and one on Level 03 will provide a healing and peaceful environment for patients and staff. SS&A collaborated with a design build team including Page Southerland Page and Hensel Phelps. This project was completed as part of the joint venture with SS&A/PAGE.
