David Parker Retires from SS&A
Please join us in congratulating David Parker on his retirement after over 30 years of service at SS&A. During David’s years with SS&A, he has been responsible for some major award-winning projects including the 98,000 sq. ft. Medical Clinic at Holloman AFB in New Mexico, the 177,000 sq. ft. Medical/Dental Clinic at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma, the 216,000 sq. ft. Adult Psychiatric Hospital in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and, most notably, the Guam Naval Hospital, a 280,000 sq. ft. hospital built in the middle of the Pacific Ocean on a 50-Meter-high cliff overlooking the Philippine Sea.
David graduated from Auburn University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. He joined SS&A 12 years later and has served as Project Architect, Project Manager, Director of Architecture, Managing Principal of Architecture, and a member of the Board of Directors for 18 of his 31 years with the firm.
