Welcome Summer Intern, Charlie Sledge

(May 19, 2025) – We’re excited to welcome Charlie Sledge to the Civil Engineering department at SS&A Design Collective!

Charlie is a rising senior at Auburn University pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in construction. He joins us with prior internship experience and a strong foundation in Civil 3D, which he’s eager to build upon this summer.

Charlie grew up immersed in the construction side of the industry and is now turning his focus toward design—motivated by the satisfaction of seeing plans come to life and hard work realized in the built environment. He learned about SS&A through a former surveying professor and was drawn to the opportunity to grow in a collaborative, hands-on environment.

Outside of work, Charlie enjoys golf, tennis, hunting, carpentry, and fishing. We’re glad to have him on board and look forward to the energy and perspective he brings to the team.
