Ambulatory Care Center / Dental Clinic Replacement Hadnot Point
The new, 40,036 SF, 2-story Ambulatory Care Center Dental Clinic Replacement Project is located in Hadnot Point, near the Historic District of Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune, NC. The new clinic façade is designed in the Georgian architectural style to fit into the surrounding historical context. Pharmacy, medical, and facility services are located on the first floor with the Marine Centered Medical Home Clinic (MCMH) and medical ancillary services arranged around a central waiting space. The dental services are located on the second story of the facility. Access to the second floor is via a centrally located two-elevator bank and two enclosed stairs. Sustainable design strategies, including energy-efficient light sources and fixtures, low-flow and high-efficiency plumbing fixtures, and a CO2 ventilation monitoring system, have been carefully incorporated into the facility’s design in order to achieve a Silver Rating through the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED® Building Rating System.
