The Mechanical Engineers at Sherlock, Smith & Adams
recommend and design mechanical systems by in-depth analysis based on extensive
knowledge, training and experience. Our Mechanical Engineers are
experienced in working in all climatic regions, from the warm and humid islands
of the South Pacific Ocean to the frigid environment of central Alaska, from the high elevations of the Colorado Rocky Mountains to the arid regions of the
desert southwest. They utilize state-of-the-art Building Modeling computer
analysis to determine how buildings react to both internal and external
environmental conditions. They have extensive experience in conservation
products and offer innovative solutions to improve sustainability through
design. Their extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing systems,
medical gas systems and storm and waste water systems ensure that all
alternatives are considered and the most appropriate solution is recommended
for each unique project. The Mechanical Engineering Staff is adept at
designing systems subject to high seismic activity, hurricanes and typhoons, as
well as buildings subject to chemical or biological attack from forces hostile
to the United States.
