General Description

Designed by Sherlock, Smith & Adams, Regency Point is the pinnacle of senior living in Alabama. Tucked away in the foothills of Northeast Alabama, it is the state’s most luxurious senior living facility. Nestled into a small valley in the budding community of Rainbow City, just south of Gadsden, Regency Pointe offers a comfortable, safe, and aesthetically pleasing environment in which to live.

Owned by Baptist Health Services, Inc., Regency Pointe affords the comforts of home with proven quality care unsurpassed in today’s market. Offering levels of service such as independent living, assisted living and dementia care allows residents and their families to determine what specialty best suits their individual needs.

In an effort to provide residents a “homelike” environment, Regency Pointe was designed to embody the characteristics of the residential look and feel with features such as stone veneer exterior facades, gabled rooflines, and varying building appearance. Large windows and exterior balconies focus the residential living apartments outward, rather than toward an inner corridor. Personal comfort was the focus of adding individual living unit climate control systems as well as insulating each unit for thermal and sound isolation. Furthermore, all living areas contain comprehensive sprinkler systems and meet the most current and stringent accessibility guidelines.

To maintain their individual identities, both independent living and assisted living areas have separate entrances, complemented by covered drop-off entries and convenient parking. For residents looking for a more social setting, Regency Pointe offers multiple lounge/living/television areas as well as an exercise room, barber/beauty parlor facility, a chapel and a country store. Additionally, a business room is included with such features as computers, printers, and fax capabilities. Private dining rooms and exterior dining patios are also available. The Dementia Care area offers secure interior and exterior courtyards with walking paths. Exterior amenities found among the natural wooded terrain include a fountain, a walking path, and lush landscaping.
