FLOWERS HALL RENOVATION
Architectural preservation of a more than 100-year-old building used as much of the original material as possible and utilized phased planning to renovate major areas of the building with minimal interruptions.
Flowers Hall was restored to its original integrity while being true to its historical period. It was brought up to current fire code standards, the pipe organ was moved to rear of the chapel to expose an original stained glass window masterpiece, slate roofing and flashing were repaired, and HVAC equipment was removed from the roof. Mechanical and electrical systems were updated, and a new walkway/ramp and new public restrooms and other alterations were added to meet Accessibility Standards.
