General Description
This former industrial facility built just after World War I was transformed into a new medical and dental clinic. A two-story waiting area provides patient waiting for the medical clinics and ancillary services on the first floor and dental waiting on the second floor. Much of the original riveted steel structure was left exposed in the public area to evoke the original industrial function–“proofing” of guns for Navy ships–of this historical facility.
