General Description
The Navy’s new medical/dental clinic at Quantico is an “L” shaped building with the long side of the “L” being a glass “front porch” housing waiting spaces for clinics on two levels. The building is red brick with a hipped roof to fit into the surrounding neighborhood of Georgian style buildings. Even so, behind the formal red brick loggia framework, the “front porch” glass wall undulates in a serpentine manner to provide light, and interesting interior waiting spaces appropriate for a modern healthcare facility.
