Download printable project sheet, 393KB.Redstone Village was designed to provide a complete quality environment for retirement, with the goal of providing as many daily amenities as possible. Everything in the 288,000-square-foot facility is designed with the convenience of the resident in mind. A large common space is centrally located to allow for easy access by all of the residents to all of the following services: Formal Dining Room, Library, Convenience Store, Deli, Mail Room, Business Center, Arts & Crafts Room, Multipurpose Room, and ATM. The Redstone Village complex is divided into three sections based on level of care—Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing.
The Independent Living wings provide for the same active lifestyles the residents have always enjoyed, enhanced by a variety of services and amenities. Each wing consists of a four-story building comprised of three apartment levels, with a total of eighty-eight apartments, and a below-grade parking level. Each unit is also provided storage space in one of two resident storage rooms. There is a variety of floor plans from which to choose, in one-bedroom to two-bedroom layouts. All of the layout choices include a private covered balcony.
The Assisted Living wing is comprised of a three-story building containing fifty units, storage, activity spaces and attendants' stations. This wing provides the opportunity for the resident to continue enjoying the independent lifestyle, while providing some extra help with daily activities. The Assisted Living wing has its own commons area, providing many of the same services as the Independent Living commons.
The Skilled Nursing wing is a forty-bed, two-story structure providing both private and semiprivate rooms for those who need nursing care on a continual basis. The wing is serviced from the main kitchen located in the Independent Commons, through serving areas located on each floor. These residents will be furnished with 24-hour nursing care with a more relaxed and familiar environment.
In addition to the main building, there is also a row of cottages whose residents enjoy all the benefits of the Independent Commons without living in the apartment setting.
The whole complex will benefit from the close-knit community environment that Redstone Village will provide, with the added comfort of security monitoring, housekeeping services, and interior and exterior maintenance.
