The Town of Mt. Laurel is a new town development nestled atop Double Oak Mountain on the outskirts of Birmingham, Alabama.

Developed with Community and Nature in mind, Mt. Laurel is built as a timeless reminder of the traditional towns from years past. Using the utmost attention to detail, town developers are crafting a community built upon the strength of the relationships among its residents.

Seeking to preserve the natural beauty of the surroundings, Mt. Laurel is placed among the trees, not in place of them. Sherlock, Smith and Adams, in concert with HWNDL, Inc., of Toronto, Ontario, has been awarded the honor of developing the town Swim and Tennis Center. Taking extreme care to remain within the bounds of the town development guidelines, the new Center will be fashioned to blend with its surroundings in the same manner as the town itself. Included will be a pavilion, a swimming pool, tennis courts, walking trails and a playground. Some important goals are to provide a connection between Spoonwood Lake and the center of Town, as well as to offer a relaxing and safe retreat for the Town’s residents.
