The structural engineer's task brings to mind the Vitruvian triad of "firmness,
commodity and delight." While the structural stability of the building is
certainly foremost among the structural engineer's concerns, also important are
the most efficient way to accomplish a task and what the structural design will
mean to the aesthetic of the whole building. SS&A's structural staff brings
significant experience into solving this problem for each project.
