Since joining Sherlock, Smith & Adams, Inc. in 1975, James has prepared most of the firm's architectural construction specifications. He is responsible for the total coordination of each project manual and is involved with each project from concept to completion.

James works closely with project architects and engineers in an advisory capacity as each job progresses and provides valuable input on materials, detailing, constructibility and quality control. James, along with his word processing support staff, is fully proficient in the use of the MasterSPEC and SPECSINTACT specifications processing programs.
