Roger has over 30 years of experience in the architectural field. He joined Sherlock, Smith & Adams in 1995 and is the Principal-in-Charge of the Birmingham Office. Roger has designed and managed a diversity of projects including senior living facilities, institutional buildings, historical restoration projects, educational facilities and religious architecture.

Formerly, Roger was the Director of Architecture and Engineering for the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Roger was responsible for consultant selection for University projects and for directing the in-house architects and engineers in the design and construction document preparation of hospital, research, educational and administration projects. He was also responsible for architectural and engineering standards, facility programming, design review and construction document review for construction of the University Plant, with oversight of the design, work priorities, schedules, client reporting, budgeting, construction delivery methods and overall project process.
