Registered Architects. There is an immediate need for Registered Architects with the experience of being Project Architects. Knowledge of healthcare, commercial and/or educational design is a requirement. Projects will demand some national and international travel. A working knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred. Professionals will have a wide variety of projects with which to develop their career. Mentoring will be provided by Architects that are known nationally and internationally for their knowledge and design excellence.

Intern Architects are desired in both our Montgomery and Birmingham offices. Sherlock, Smith and Adams, Inc. recognizes that the future of the company lies in the younger generations of professionals who will come to be mentored and taught the meaning of design excellence. Intern architects should have a working knowledge of AutoCAD and have a desire to work on a wide variety of healthcare, commercial and/or educational projects. An interest in national and international travel would be helpful. Engineers in Training (EIT) are needed in our Mechanical, Electrical and Civil departments. These degreed engineers should desire to work on design of healthcare, commercial and educational facilities. Experienced, registered engineers will mentor the new engineers and help them develop their professional career and become registered. With architectural and other engineering departments in-house, the EIT will be a part of a unique, comprehensive design experience.

Estimator is needed in our Montgomery office. Experience in estimating software is required. A working knowledge of AutoCAD is helpful. Estimating experience in architecture, mechanical or electrical engineering for healthcare, commercial or educational facilities is preferred. Knowledge of military estimating software and requirements is helpful. Estimators will work directly with the architect and engineer design professionals in-house to produce documents on large projects.
